    ABOUT US

Based in 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal, India, Prasenjit Nath, born in 1979, earned his B.V.A. from THE INDIAN COLLEGE OF ARTS & DRAFTSMANSHIP (Under RABINDRA BHARATI UNIVERSITY) in 2004. Nath's artistic journey has been marked by numerous group exhibitions and participations, including notable events such as the WORLD VIRTUAL MUSEUM in 2020 and THE OCCASION OF 125 YEARS CELEBRATION sponsored by ICAD in 2018. His works have been showcased in prestigious venues like the Academy of Fine Arts and Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai.

Nath's artistic prowess has garnered attention beyond exhibition halls, with his paintings featured in esteemed publications like Ananda Bazar Patrika, Times of India, and The Telegraph. His art has also found its way into private collections in India and the USA. In his artist statement, Nath believes in art as a universal language, transcending boundaries and serving as a testament to human creativity. He draws inspiration from traditional Bengali crafts, particularly Naskhi Kantha, a form of quilted cloth embroidery, reflecting themes of resilience, creativity, and community. Through his art, Nath seeks to celebrate Bengali culture, honor traditional crafts, and explore themes of heritage and identity.

He invites viewers to join him on his artistic journey, to Artists Prasenjit, where art comes alive.

    With creativity and gratitude,

    Artist Prasenjit Nath
